  • Deposit: 50% required to reserve booking.
    • Free cancellation: 100% deposit refund if canceled >1 week before check-in.
    • Cancellation 48 hours–1 week before check-in: 50% deposit refund.
    • Cancellation <48 hours before check-in: No deposit refund.
  • Check-in & Check-out: Check-in after 2:00 PM, checkout before 10:00 AM. Self check-in with building staff. Late check-out requires prior approval and may incur fees.
  • Minimum Booking Age: 18+
  • Property Use & House Rules:
    • Maximum 12 guests.
    • Pets allowed.
    • Commercial photography allowed.
    • No smoking inside the property.
    • Minimum charge per night applies (equivalent to 4 guests).
    • House cleaner available upon request for additional fee.
    • Septic tanks in use: do not flush non-decomposable items.
    • Close all windows, curtains, and doors before leaving.
    • Treat the property with care and respect.
  • Safety & Liability:
    • Guests use the property at their own risk.
    • Nearby water hazards: swimming pool on adjacent property, dam ~300m, river ~800m.
    • Children’s play area present: wooden jungle gym with slide, swings, raised platform.
    • No carbon monoxide or smoke alarms; exercise caution.
    • Animals present: chickens, guineafowl, small antelope. Dogs must be restrained outside fenced area.
    • Stairs exist to loft bedrooms; ground floor living areas accessible.
    • Guests responsible for any damage to property or its contents.
  • Force Majeure: Plain Champagne Rentals shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing accommodation or services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, civil unrest, government action, strikes, pandemics, or other events making performance impossible or unsafe. Guests may cancel in such cases and receive a refund minus any non-recoverable costs incurred.
  • Compliance: Guests must follow local laws; hosts comply with registration, tax, and safety requirements.
  • Electronic Communications: Booking constitutes consent to receive emails about bookings and promotions.
